Freddie Mercury Tribute
The Queen Fan Club, in association with The MPT, will hold a Freddie Tribute show on November 25th at the Clapham Grand Theatre - and promise a great line-up! Doors will be at 6pm, and show will start with "Big Sing" Karaoke, thanks to Lucky Voice and the fabulous Ellie Mules - a chance for EVERYONE to join in and sing to your heart's content, with a set list featuring the best of Queen songs and loads of great rock power ballads! Then our very own, fabulous SAS band, featuring Spike Edney, Jason Falloon, Steve Stroud and John Marter, will rock your night away! They will be joined by special guests Kerry Ellis, Tony Vincent, Toyah, Chris Thompson, Madeline Bell, Patti Russo and excellent RockChicks, Susie and Zoe! Sadly it looks like Roger or Brian won't be joining us at this time, due to other commitments, but this will still be a BRILLIANT night celebrating the life and music of the late, great FREDDIE MERCURY! Tickets are sold out for this show, but Jacky Smith at the Fan Club does have a waiting list. If you want to be one it, then email to qfc@queenworld.com.

2006-December 9th
THE SAS BAND at BISLEY!
Artists will include: Madeline Bell, Graham Bouldman, Tim Robinson, Jeff Scott Soto, Chris Thompson and Tony Vincent. Tickets
£22.50. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards or Eurocheques.
Payment must be made by Sterling cheque only. We do not reserve
tickets for collection on the night. Tickets are available from me, Jill Davies, SAS Band, PO Box 8658, London SE27 9ZT. Cheques should be made payable to ‘JILL DAVIES – SAS A/C'. It
is essential to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope (a normal DL
envelope is fine) for the return of your tickets. You should allow ten
working days for your cheque to clear and your tickets to be processed. Please
also ensure you let me have a daytime telephone number (or daytime
email address) in case of queries. These frequently arise and if I
cannot contact you during office hours and have to send you a letter,
your application may be delayed to the point where tickets have been
sold out. Do remember I have to deal with hundreds of
tickets in a very short space of time. The process is necessarily
slowed when I have to try to make sense of ticket requests scrawled on
bits of Post-It note, torn scraps of paper, the backs of cheques, under
the flap of envelopes, etc. Sometimes I don't even have that – I
frequently receive just a cheque with no gig date specified!! To
ensure I can deal with your application speedily and efficiently,
please set out your ticket request on a sheet of paper, showing clearly
your name and address, daytime telephone (or email) contact details,
the number of tickets you require and the date you require them for. Because
of the overwhelming demand for tickets each year, I strongly urge you
to apply for your tickets as soon as you receive this Newsletter, so
that you don't miss out. As I say every year: Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the SAS BAND!Jill Davies, SAS Band Office, PO Box 8658, London SE27 9ZT 020 8761 2329 – 11.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday (except Wednesday) Email: Jill@SASBAND.COM
